Stuck, found a bug, or have an idea? Email is the fastest way to reach us — a human reads every message.

01What to include

For bug reports, a quick description of what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead works wonders. Your iPhone model and iOS version help too. Screenshots are gold.

02Common questions

GPS recording stopped early?A recording keeps going while you use your maps app or lock your phone, until you tap Stop. If a trip still came up short, check that Odo's location access isn't set to “Never” in Settings, then edit the miles or re-log it manually; both take seconds.

Deduction number looks different from your spreadsheet?Odo values each trip at the IRS rate in effect on the trip's date — a January trip and a December trip in a rate-change year are valued differently. Settings shows the bundled rate table, and you can set a custom rate for reimbursements or non-U.S. use.

Moved to a new phone, or reinstalled? On iPhone, Odo backs your log up to your own iCloud Drive automatically, and a fresh install offers to restore it on the first screen (or later: Settings → Backup → Restore → iCloud backup). A standard device-to-device migration or iCloud device backup restore works too. Your unlock restores through the App Store or Google Play (Settings → Restore purchases).

Want your data gone? Delete the app, then delete the Odo folder in iCloud Drive (Files app). Nothing exists anywhere else — we never had a copy.

03Feature requests

Odo stays deliberately simple — no accounts, no servers, no background tracking — but we love hearing what would make it better. If your idea fits the “pay once, stay private” spirit, there's a good chance it makes the roadmap.
